The Human Experience follows a group of young men – an unlikely “band of brothers” from a shelter in Brooklyn, New York – who set out to connect with the heart of what it means to be human. The result is a remarkable look at these guys’ experiences as they travel to meet people around the world, to confront human cruelty, avarice, indifference, compassion, beauty, and joy. Winner of dozens of film festival awards, The Human Experience is an honest, funny, difficult, heart-breaking, and inspiring view of their travels to uncover the human experience in our world.
Living Earth hosts Movie Night on the 3rd Friday each month. We’ll have tea and noshes, chai and popcorn, and a chance to connect and watch a movie with friends. Feel free to bring a treat to share (just munchies and “finger food,” not needing utensils and dishes). Donations at the door are much appreciated.
Movie Nights present films that speak to who we are as human beings, that inquire into what it means to be alive, to explore awareness, and to engage in our lives as expressions of conscious awakening.
