“Come, come, whoever you are.
Wonderer, worshipper, lover of leaving.
It doesn’t matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come, even if you have broken your vow
a thousand times
Come, yet again, come, come.”
- Jelaluddin Rumi
Join us to step away from routines, into the grace of the present moment, the wide open field of the heart.
Our Dharma Circles explore teachings and insights from the world’s non-dual wisdom traditions, guiding us to explore our deepest essential nature. Using practices that open our hearts and soften our boundaries, all contemplative practices and levels of experience (and inexperience) are welcome.
Please arrive between 6:45 and 7:00 pm if possible, although slipping in late is okay too. We begin at about 7:00 pm with dialogue and reflection, followed by silent sitting, moving meditation, and sitting. To receive a weekly reminder, you can sign up at
NOTE: Wooden chairs are provided in the facility. Bring cushions, mats, blankets, or whatever will be comfortable if you prefer floor sitting. The Little Church is shoe-free, so prepare to slip off your shoes and wiggle your toes when you arrive. Warm socks or slippers are a good idea in winter, as the floor is not carpeted.
However we engage on behalf of peace, justice, beauty, and balance in our world, if our actions are not grounded in wide open hearts, they often only add to the fog of conflict. Gandhi’s call to “be the change you want to see” is over-quoted as if it were a Hallmark sentiment, but to surrender ourselves to actually living that injunction is a practice for a lifetime.
To embody the qualities we hope to see reflected in our lives and our world requires sustained attention, conscious intention, ever-deepening insight, and great love. Dharma Circles offer space where we can cultivate those qualities within ourselves. Gathering in satsang, sangha, and fellowship, we deepen our own commitment and support each other as we embrace of our deepest Heart.
Sharing the journey, the path becomes lighter, the possibilities wider, and our travels are enriched and sweetened as we go.
