Welcome
Living Earth programs nurture peace, justice, beauty, and balance in our lives and in the world. Visit our About pages to get a sense of what Living earth is all about. The Programs and Calendar pages have info about current projects and upcoming activities.
Every Monday we offer Dharma Circles, a weekly gathering for dharma reflections and shared meditation.
On Sunday May 6, wildflowers will be in full bloom at Rowena Plateau in the Columbia Gorge. Check the link and come for an easy meander across miles of meadows, enjoying the wonder of spring.
Our ongoing Brown Bag Project is open to volunteers, and more info about it can also be found on the site, designed by volunteer Dana Scheider.
Earlier this year, Living Earth hosted a Ram Dass Satsang-on-the-Tradewinds
in Portland, and captured the rich insights, laughter, tenderness, and compassion to stream here. One hundred folks, from tatted-up college student to white-haired elders shared the opportunity to ask questions and connect with this treasured dharma teacher. We sang kirtan to warm the space and later sipped chai and ate sweets, savoring this magical hour-long, big-screen “visit” with Ram Dass.
We hope you’ll join us for upcoming opportunities to connect, reflect, engage, and enjoy a community of practice, service, and heart, and we look forward to meeting you in the weeks ahead.
